Marco Bezzecchi will be eager to close the gap between him and the top three riders by winning the
Hungarian MotoGP.

The Aprilia Racing rider secured a podium spot at the Austrian MotoGP on August 17, the most recent event on the 2025 MotoGP calendar.
Bezzecchi claimed a third-place finish and he also finished fourth in the sprint event, which saw him collect 22 points from the memorable race.
MotoGP title ambitions
The former Mooney VR46 Racing Team rider is placed fourth in the 2025 MotoGP Riders' standings, having collected 178 points from 13 races.
Bezzecchi is 43 points behind third-placed Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati and 240 points behind leader, Marc Marquez of Ducati.
Why Bezzecchi could win the 2025 Hungarian MotoGP
The Italian Grand Prix motorcycle racer has hit form after making a slow start to the current season, having secured podium spots in three of the last four races.
Bezzecchi, who was crowned champion at the 2025 British MotoGP, has what it takes to win this weekend's Hungarian MotoGP and move closer to the top three riders.
What did he say?
"I am extremely pleased; it was a brilliant race. Considering the way we began Friday, closing out the weekend with pole position and a podium is incredible," Bezzecchi said after the 2025 Austrian MotoGP.
"I am truly satisfied with the work done together with the team. The battle in the lead was fantastic and I gave it my all. Now we’ll be looking ahead to the next race in Balaton."
